What is this medicine used for?

For the treatment of epilepsy and neuropathic pain. As an adjunctive therapy in adults with partial seizures with or without secondary generalization. Used also for the treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder in adults.

Dosage

For epilepsy, treatment can be started with a dose of 150mg per day given as two or three divided doses. For GAD, the dose range is 150mg to 600mg per day as two or three divided doses. The need for treatment should be reassessed regularly.

Adverse Reactions

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
